What non-Cisco devices are found in a Discovery?
DesignXpert discovers all SNMP supporting devices and retrieves public MIB information such as system description, location, object ID and more. Product ID is either retrieved from the Netformx KnowledgeBase, which is proprietary. Most equipment supporting MIB II (Entity MIB) will be discovered with the product ID / catalog number.
