Step 1: Understand the CX Advanced Specialized Audit Requirements
For Cisco Partners who desire to achieve the higher certification level, Cisco Advanced Customer Experience Partner Specialization requires substantial investment in people and organizations, automation tools, processes, and data analysis. Partners must pass an independent third-party audit to verify their compliance with the spirit and intent of the Advanced specialization requirements. Along with an investment in processes, the Partner must show, via live demonstration, the adoption and incorporation of a customer success tool (or tools) for a range of functions.
Step 2: Evaluate the Cisco recommended CSM Tooling options
Using traditional Customer Success Management (CSM) applications recommended by Cisco, Partners have discovered they must spend many months preparing for the audit due to the complexity of designing and implementing one of these robust CSM infrastructures. Additionally, once they start building out the CSM environment, Partners uncover a second hard truth. Today’s CSM applications cannot use automation or leverage Cisco APIs to consume, store, and present the data required to meet the audit tooling needs. Consequently, additional months must be spent building systems to manually transpose critical live customer data and information from various applications into the CSM application to pass the audit.
