Netformx Sr. Customer Success Manager
Greetings Cisco Partners,
To our returning guests, welcome back! If this is your first time here, welcome to my blog on simplifying Cisco’s Lifecycle Incentives (LCI), where I’ll be covering a wide range of LCI topics focused on making it easier for you to work with and understand how you can get the most out of Cisco’s LCI rewards program.
Last month my blog discussed Changes to Cisco’s ‘Adopt’ Program. This month I’m reviewing our ChannelXpert 5.4 update with a focus on the LifecycleXpert features. Future blogs will cover specifics ways you can use our solutions to simplify your pre- and post-sale LCI analysis and best practices to increase your LCI profitability.
What I’m covering was presented in the application notification that appears when users first log in. However, as a typical user, I tend to blow right through those messages because I’m in a rush to get to the application to start doing my work.
But that leaves us with this challenge.
- How do we get your attention to inform you about the incremental application changes that make it easier to work with the application?
The good news is, you’re reading this blog, which means you are getting the information you need to know.
Updates to Netformx LifecycleXpert for LCI
On March 7, 2022, we rolled out three minor (but very beneficial) improvements to LifecycleXpert as part of the ChannelXpert 5.4 update.
- Cisco LCI Adopt updates including the new deal bands (Entry & Extra Large) along with the modified payout structures now appear in the LifecycleXpert Opportunity interface.
- We’ve improved the accuracy of the Customer Success Plan (CSP) expiration date tracking for business booked with a future subscription start date – for those situations, the CSP and Proof of Performance (PoP) dates derive from the Booking date instead of the subscription start date
- LifecycleXpert now automatically removes duplicate LCI Opportunity entries when you insert the missing Deal ID into the Activity UI line, after you’ve submitted the LCI Opportunity registration in Cisco’s PPE portal
If you need visuals to help you understand how those improvements work, please check out the details in the product update article that is posted.
Does this blog help? Is it too long, too short, or a waste of time? Are there other LCI challenges you have? Good or bad, please let me know at marshall.eisenberg@netformx.com as I am an expert in helping Cisco Partners to better leverage LCI.
Don’t forget to share this blog with your colleagues that may benefit as well!
